They have a Mac, which is a recurring theme in their Twitter posts. (They also often draw Lain from serial experiments lain which has a lot of references to Apple. Perhaps they like Apple.)

Scary walls. They're definitely made out of concrete.

The image is probably from Tsukumizu's exhibition, and, because there are no Shimeji Simulation volumes on the table, the exhibition must have took place before its release.
