The old Pescenomicon
The original Pescenomicon was hosted at https://wiki.sakana.cx. The oldest commit is from June 2021.
What I can assume is that this was a small passion project.
Warning and eventual takedown
Sometime around July of 2022, a warning was "posted" on the wiki of an eventual takedown with dumps of site content being released. theorytoe learned about this roughly around July 15th-17th of 2022 and downloaded the dumps of the site content.
Resoration Efforts
From the archived content, theorytoe reconstructed most of the wiki content. Some things were unable to work, including the site's custom CSS stylesheet.
Pescenomicon Restored
The Pescenomicon Restored now aims to keep the content of the original Pescenomicon on the internet for others to enjoy, while also adding content to the wiki when needed.
